Podopieczni trenera Pawlonki mieli okazję zaprezentować się na Anchor Cup przeciwko takim drużynom jak Lech Poznań, Bałtyk Koszalin czy AP Reissa. – Ten turniej był kolejną okazją do sprawdzenia naszego postępu i rozwoju – mówi trener Marcin Czarnecki.
Nadmorski kurort przed dwa dni był bazą dla kilkudziesięciu akademii piłkarskich z całej Polski. Na obiektach Kotwicy sportowa rywalizacja toczyła się bowiem aż w sześciu kategoriach wiekowych. Na poziomie orlika młodszego granatowo-bordowi spotkali się m.in. z Progresem Warszewo, AP Reissa Poznań czy Bałtykiem Koszalin.
– Bardzo cieszy nas fakt, iż było widać od początku, odwagę, nieustępliwość oraz charakter, ponieważ wszystkie zespoły były na podobnym poziomie – dodaje trener.
Dobre wyniki w sobotnich spotkaniach stały się dla Portowców przepustką do grupy mistrzowskiej. W niej granatowo-bordowi ponownie stawili czoła drużynom z Koszalina i Poznania, ale także mieli okazję stanąć naprzeciwko ekip Funinio Szczecin, Lecha Poznań czy kadry Football Academy.
– Na turnieju staraliśmy się grać piłką, tworzyć przewagę, finalizować nasze sytuacje. Po ostatnim gwizdku schodziliśmy dumni, widząc ile potu, serca oraz zaangażowania nasi zawodnicy zostawili na boisku – podsumowuje szkoleniowiec Dumy Pomorza.
