W podróż na południe Czech wyruszyli dziś trampkarze starsi Pogoni Szczecin. Zamiast walki o punkty w Centralnej Lidze Juniorów U15 granatowo-bordowi wezmą udział w turnieju Magic Cup, w którym zmierzą się m.in. z Dinamem Zagrzeb czy Viktorią Pilzno.
W turnieju Magic Cup od kilku sezonów uczestniczą najlepsze czeskie zespoły – na czele ze stołecznymi Slavią oraz Spartą, a także zaproszeni goście z zagranicy. W poprzednich edycjach do rywalizacji stanęły m.in. drużyny Slovana Bratysława czy kanadyjskiego FC Ottawa. W tym roku obsada jest jednak szczególnie silna – do rywalizacji przystąpią bowiem trampkarze Viktorii Pilzno, Sigmy Ołomuniec, Spartaka Trnava czy wielokrotnego mistrza Chorwacji – Dinama Zagrzeb.
Zaproszenie do udziału w turnieju otrzymali również zawodnicy Dumy Pomorza. Podopieczni trenera Kuranta w ubiegłym tygodniu rozliczyli się z ligowych obowiązków, rozgrywając awansem spotkanie z Wartą Poznań (3:0). Wszystko po to, by dziś rano ruszyć do Czech na spotkanie z uznanymi, europejskimi markami.
Pierwsze spotkanie granatowo-bordowi rozegrają w piątkowe przedpołudnie. W inauguracyjnym spotkaniu ich rywalem będzie ustępujący mistrz Czech, Viktoria Pilzno. Na etapie fazy grupowej podopiecznych trenera Kuranta czekają również potyczki z Sigmą Ołomuniec oraz Dinamem Zagrzeb. W fazie pucharowej Portowcy mogą natomiast zmierzyć się z Dynamem Czeskie Budziejowice, Zbojovką Brno oraz dwoma klubami ze Słowacji – Spartakiem Trnava i 1. FC Slovacko.
